The purpose of Pride in Business is to create a welcoming environment for LGBTQ+ students within Boston University, while addressing the unique challenges and opportunities LGBTQ+ professionals face.
We are dedicated to providing exclusive professional development opportunities and connecting LGBTQ+ students with the Diversity and Inclusion initiatives at top-tier companies.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES
Here you can reach out to a counselor if you’re struggling, find answers and information, and get the tools you need to help someone else.

Their website also houses its own resource center with handbooks, articles and guides for all queer identities.
CGSA is an open student-run safe space in the basement of the GSU. They also have many free resources available – from condoms and tampons to bagels, arts and crafts supplies, a well-stocked library, and the Womb Room, it is a safe space for BU's queer students to spend time!
This organization houses specific support groups as well, such as the Trans Listening Circle (TLC).

NCTE is a team of hard-working staff members supported by a nationwide community of transgender people, allies, and advocates with an extensive record of winning life-saving change for transgender people.

These support group provides a safe space to explore and discuss the joys and challenges of being LGBTQ+. This confidential and affirming group is an opportunity to connect with each other and offer emotional support.​

MEET THE EBOARD

Trevor Krall (he/him)
President
Trevor is a Junior in the Questrom School of Business studying Business in International Relations. He joined Pride in Business during first year at Boston University, and holds the position of community service director/member of Alpha Kappa Psi: a co-ed professional business fraternity. He's from Northern Virginia, loves going to concerts, thrifting, and hanging out with friends!
Samantha (she/her)
Executive Vice President
Samantha is a junior in the College of Communication, majoring in Advertising and minoring in Visual Arts. She joined Pride in Business during her freshman year when searching for an LGBTQ+ organization to make a comfortable transition to a BU, as such a large university. Outside of PiB, Samantha runs Student Tailoring Services and is a layout designer for Strike Magazine Boston. She's originally from New York City and spends her free time drawing, collaging, and up-cycling old clothing!


Payton Breck (she/her)
Vice President of Finance
Payton is a rising Junior in the College of Communication studying Advertising and minoring in Data Science and Art History. Outside of PIB, she is the content creation director for BU's Fashion & Retail Association! This past summer she held PR and business administration internships. She enjoys hiking, cooking, fashion, and writing!
Dotty Judy (she/her)
Vice President of Marketing
Dotty is a rising junior at the Questrom School of Business studying business administration. During her free time, she loves running and creating art, including making prints for her small business!


Alyssa Bergo (she/her)
Vice President of Operations
Alyssa is a rising junior at the College of Arts and Sciences studying political science and international relations on the Pre-Law track. Outside of PIB, she is the VP of Alumni Networking for BU's Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, a fashion stylist for Strike Magazine Boston, and plans to pursue a career in international law and foreign policy!
Kabir Sinha Mehta (he/him)
Vice President of Operations
Kabir is a rising Junior at the Questrom School of Business studying Marketing and Business Analytics and minoring in Hospitality and French.
